USA Founder of MFI Brother Dick & Roxy Iverson
We are very blessed to have with us this year Brother Dick & Roxy Iverson, the founding pastor of Bible Temple and also the Founder of Ministers Fellowship International America. With his ministry beginning in Jamaica in 1949 to present, Brother Dick brings with him sixty seven years of ministry experience in a very wide spectrum of applications guaranteed to be of great benefit to all.
Ministers Fellowship International began as an organization in 1987 in response to this pressing need among pastors and leaders of independent churches for a sense of covering, accountability, identity and connection. Dick served as the Founder and Chairman of MFI until 2009 and today he and Roxy remain active in the fellowship, traveling and ministering to churches and pastors conferences world wide.
Ministers Fellowship International is a dream come true. For many years I wondered how ministers could come together for a common purpose, without having to face issues of control and sacrificing their local church autonomy. That once dream is now a reality.
Australasian Chairman – Bernie Hartog
Bernie is a visionary leader/pastor who, with his wife Susie, accepted the call of God in 1982, & dedicated themselves together to plant, pioneer, establish, build a strong, Holy Spirit-filled, local church in Kingston, Tasmania.
In May 2015, with the home-grown leadership team, they successfully transitioned CityLight Church into a new generation of Leadership. Having joined MFI when Kevin J Conner founded it in 1993, Kevin entrusted Bernie to lead and build a Team leadership to expand MFI across Australasia, assisting & encouraging pastors/church leaders out on their own or needing support. Bernie is passionate about both edification & evangelism, being involved in encouraging, teaching & building up the church of the Lord Jesus Christ with the word of God, & in the presence & power of the Holy Spirit, seeing local churches flourish and multiplying, seeing the next generation of leaders equipped to rise up in their particular gifting to train and bring increase.
